Empris And The Gems
Empris and The Gems is a Maryland-based band formed in 2023, blending indie rock, pop, and folk with storytelling lyrics and ethereal instrumentals. Influenced by acts like Young the Giant and Phoenix, they captivate audiences with original songs and reimagined covers at venues such as Stages Music Arts and regional events.
The Montaines
The Montaines are a Washington, DC-based indie rock band formed in 2023. Their music features a powerful rhythm section, driving guitar lines, and catchy vocal melodies. Quickly making a mark on the local music scene, they’ve performed at venues like The Pocket and released their self-titled debut EP in October 2023, recorded at Ivakota Studio with Ben Green. Their sound is described as engaging and energetic, offering a fresh take on indie rock.
Visitr Centr
An indie rock band from Baltimore, Visitr Cntr is led by vocalist and guitarist Chase Duvall. The lineup includes Alex Girgis (bass), Jose Andres Ortiz (guitar/synth), and Jonny Green (drums). Their music combines introspective lyrics with experimental indie sounds. The band's name was inspired by the "visitor centers" Duvall encountered during his travels. Their single, "Late Bloomer," crafted during the pandemic, reflects themes of social anxiety and self-discovery.
