Antonio Reynoso
Antonio Reynoso is the Brooklyn Borough President. The son of two Dominican immigrants, Mr. Reynoso was born and raised in Los Sures, Williamsburg, just three blocks down from where he lives today with his wife and two sons. In 2021, Antonio became the youngest Borough President elected to a four-year term, the first Latino to hold the office in the borough, and the first Dominican to be elected as a Borough President in NYC. Since then, he’s launched a history-making maternal health agenda and championed planning for a healthy, housed Brooklyn.
Michael D. Lappin
Michael D. Lappin is the Managing Director of MLappin & Associates LLC, a company providing both advisory and development services for affordable housing. From 1980 to 2011 he was the President of the Community Preservation Corporation (CPC). Under his leadership, nearly $8 billion invested for the building and redevelopment of over 147,000 homes. He has widely written and lectured in the field of affordable housing and community development. He is also a member of the LAI New York Chapter.
Matthew Murphy
Matthew Murphy is the Executive Director of the NYU Furman Center. Previously, he served as Deputy Commissioner for the Office of Policy and Strategy for the New York City Department of Housing Preservation and Development (HPD), and was responsible for creating strategies to advance HPD's housing policy objectives and overseeing initiatives to help achieve agency goals and improve operations. Matt has a Masters of Urban Planning from the NYU Robert F. Wagner School of Public Service. He holds an undergraduate degree from DePaul University.IIngrid Gould Ellen
Ingrid Gould Ellen is the Paulette Goddard Professor of Urban Policy and Planning at the NYU Wagner Graduate School of Public Service and Faculty Director at the NYU Furman Center. She is currently the President-Elect of the Association for Public Policy and Management and previously served as the president of the American Real Estate and Urban Economics Association. Professor Ellen has written numerous peer-reviewed articles related to housing policy, neighborhood change, and segregation. Professor Ellen has held visiting positions at the Department of Urban Studies and Planning at MIT, the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, the Urban Institute and the Brookings Institution.
